The Garden

“The Garden” is a documentary portrait of José António Gonçalves Teixeira, who has dedicated much of his life to a community garden in Porto. The garden brings together people from different backgrounds and becomes a place of exchange, community and stability. For some of its members, working there also helps them live with mental illness.

I accompanied the project from beginning to end as co-director and director of photography.
